When Oscar ~ a trans-masc, lonely researcher ~ finds himself stationed in Antarctica and living in a cramped research hut with three surly men, he begins venturing out onto the ice in search of fresh air and some alone time. However, he soon learns how memories he believed he’d long buried start to resurface in still and quiet moments, like an ancient body exposed by thawing ice. 

Inspired by Peo’s love of body horror and The Thing (1982), and Dylin’s love of Antarctica, this is a story about Oscar and his past flame ~ Sofia ~ who begins to haunt him when he’s alone out on the ice. It’s giving ~ queer ~ body horror ~ erotica ~ freak ~ monsters ~ steamy ~ tentacles ~ wet blue glaciers ~ so cold it burns hot

Flesh of Valencia reminds us how the taste of a past lover never really leaves us, lingering in our mouths long after the last sip of juice has been swallowed…
